CATES, LEE M. 
Springfield - Lee M. Cates, 87, a native of Eldorado, Ark., died Wednesday, 
March 10, 2004, at his home. He was retired from McMillan Ring Free Oil Company 
previously located in Norphlet, Ark. He is survived by one daughter, Carol Roye 
of Springfield; one son, Lee Cates of Powell, Tenn.; four grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday at Young Funeral Home, 508 
Champagnolle Road, Eldorado, from 6 to 9 p.m. A graveside service will be held 
Saturday at Rest Haven Cemetery, Eldorado, at 11 a.m. Geisler Funeral Home, 
Albany, is the local funeral home in charge.

CATES, LLOYD WILDREN 
A resident of Conway, Ark., he died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in Conway. He
was 89 and a native of Searcy County, Ark. Survived by two daughters,
Jeannie Tinnerello, Hammond, and Genevieve Westmoreland, Tickfaw; three
brothers, Selma Cates, Leslie, Ark., Clifford Cates, San Luis Obispo,
Calif., and Doyle Cates, North Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Willie
Massey, Conway, and Joyce Treece, Leslie; five grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Lillian McKoin Cates; a son,
Dr. Jerry L. Cates; and a great-grandson, Jason Michael Tinnerello.
Graveside services will be Friday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond
