A native of Knox County, Ind., she was the associate director of Educational Talent Research at Southeastern Louisiana University and a member of Pleasant Ridge Church of God. Survivors include her husband, Paul Catt of Hammond; her mother, Gertrude Biddle of Vincennes, Ind.; and a sister, Madalyn Peters, Monroe City, Ind. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Biddle and Delaine Biddle; and her father, Kermit Biddle. Visitation will be today at Pleasant Ridge Church of God, West Pleasant Ridge Road, Hammond, from 4 p.m. until the funeral at 7. An additional service will be held Thursday in Vincennes with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Vincennes. Geisler Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge. Catt, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003. A native of Vincennes, she was a retired school teacher and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Vincennes. Besides her son, she is survived by her other children, Karen Ann Benefiel of Boonville, Ind., John David Catt of Newburgh, Ind., Neal Emery Catt of Decker, Ind., Jerry Dean Catt of Evansville, Ind., and Susie Johnson of Columbus, Ind.; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Catt, six brothers, four sisters and one grandchild. Visitation is scheduled at St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Vincennes Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the funeral at 11. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Fredrick and Son Funeral Home of Vincennes is in charge. ***************************************************************************
