A resident of Pumpkin Center, she died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. She was 70 and a native of Tylertown, Miss. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Visitation in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Leon Dunn. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by four sons, Robert E. Caves, Hammond, and Michael H. Caves, Thomas J. Caves and Timothy C. Caves, all of Pumpkin Center; a daughter, Mickey C. Caves, Hale, Mo.; 12 grand- children and a great-grandchild; three sisters, Jimmie Nell Sager, Pumpkin Center, Ola Mae Anders, Tylertown, and Pauline Smith, Pumpkin Center; and two brothers, Thomas Henry Jordan and Sylvester Jordan, both of Tylertown. Preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin "Sam" and Mary Magaleen Keen Jordan; husband, Hiram Caves; and a brother, Clinton Jordan.
