She was 84 and a native of Kentwood. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 8 a.m. until religious services at 9 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. James Gordon and the Rev. Alan Rust. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Al "Cruiser" and Sherry Cavin, Zachary; a stepdaughter, Billy Jean Evans, Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Billy H. Cavin; a daughter, Mary Eva Womack; a stepson, Jerry J. Cavin; parents; and 11 sisters and brothers. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Cavin, Benjamin Cavin, Andrew Cavin, Angelo Hurst, Brian Hobbs, Gabe Gorenflo and Barry Waguespack.
