Loranger - Joseph I. Centanni, 83, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He also lived in Kenner and was a retired inspector for the city of Kenner. He was the proprietor of Kenner Building and Supply Co. and maintained a farm in Loranger. He was a member of Kenner VFW Post 7723 and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Lynn Centanni of Loranger and Diann Centanni David of Metairie; two brothers, Michel S. "Ike" Centanni of Kenner and Lebo S. Centanni Sr. of Destrehan; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, Kenner. Mass will be at 11 a.m., and burial will be in Hook & Ladder Cemetery, Gretna. ***************************************************************************
