CHAMPAGNE, RICHARD ALWYN
Richard Alwyn Champagne, 60, died August 21, 2006.  He was a native of New
Orleans and a resident of New Orleans.  Mr. Champagne was a member of Mater
Dolorosa Catholic Church.  He is survived by his wife, Maria Champagne of
Independence; two daughters, Karen Champagne Johston of Carriere, Miss.,
and Lacy Champagne Mills of Independence; and five grandchildren.  He was
preceded in death by his parents, Alwyn and Rosie Calcagno Champagne and
two sisters.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 24, 2006, from 10 a.m.
until the service at 1 p.m. at Geisler Funeral Home in Hammond.  Interment
will be in Loranger Cemetery.
