She was a native of Tulsa, Okla., and a member of the Diamondhead Community Church and Bay City Chorale of Biloxi, Miss. She is survived by five daughters, Jeannette C. Austin of Hollywood, Fla., Nancy C. Thompson of Royal Oak, Mich., Diana C. Pilcher of Ponchatoula, Cindy C. Thompson of Baton Rouge and Meribeth C. Anders of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Bob N. Ham of Houston; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Nelson Chancellor Jr.; and her parents, Burnett and Zelma Hornback Ham. Visitation will be Wednesday at First United Methodist Church of Hammond from 9 a.m. until the Rev. Ricky Willis conducts the funeral at 10. Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell.
