CHAPPLE, JOSH SR. 
Josh Chapple Sr., 81, died Sept. 6, 2000, in Hammond. He was a logging
contractor and a native of Franklinton. Survivors include his wife, Flora
Mae Chapple; two sons, Brunell Chapple, Hammond, Josh A. Chapple Jr.,
Birmingham, Ala.; sister, Georgia Sibley, Los Angeles; brother, Hogan
Chapple, Franklinton; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four
great-great-grandchildren. Frank Gordon conducted the funeral Tuesday at
Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, and burial was in Holly Garden.
