CHATMAN, GERMAINE 
Covington - Germaine Chatman, 26, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at Lakeview
Regional Medical Center, Covington. He is survived by his parents, Frank
James of Uneedus and Alice Chatman of Covington; one daughter, Mikeria
Martin of Mandeville; two sons, Tremaine Chatman and Germaine Chatman Jr.,
both of Covington; two sisters, Denise and Lakisha Chatman, both of
Covington; and two brothers, Dennis and Derrick Chatman, both of Covington.
The Rev. Malory Calahan will conduct the funeral at 10 a.m. at Starlight
Baptist Church, Covington. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery, Covington.
N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.

CHATMAN, JOSEPH DANIEL, SR.
Bogalusa - Joseph Daniel Chatman Sr., 82, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, at Lakeview 
Regional Medical Center, Covington. A native of Richardson, Miss., he is survived 
by one daughter, Cheryl Chatman Bailey of Kansas City, Mo.; one son, Joseph 
Daniel Chatman Jr. of Austin, Texas; one brother, Henry Chatman; two grand-
children and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, 
Ernestine Brown Chatman; and one sister, Daisey Lewis. The funeral will be 
Tuesday at Bethel Reform Methodist Church, Covington, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Wesley 
Cyprian will conduct the service. Burial will be in Holly Gardens Cemetery, 
Hammond. N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
