CHAUCER, DONALD ROBERT, SR. 
Donald Robert Chaucer Sr., 52, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at his home in
Hammond. He was born Dec. 31, 1953, in Hammond, the son of Annie Duczer
Chaucer and the late William "West" Chaucer. He was a member of Holy Ghost
Catholic Church, Hammond Chamber of Commerce, Southeastern Louisiana
University Alumni, and the Louisiana and National Pharmacist associations.
He was a graduate of Hammond High School and the University of Louisiana at
Monroe School of Pharmacy and owner of Chaucer's Pharmacy in Hammond.
Surviving are his loving wife, Terri DeMarco Chaucer; son, Donald "Donnie"
Robert Chaucer Jr.; daughter, Catherine "Catie" Chaucer; two brothers,
William J. Chaucer and John T. Chaucer; and mother-in-law, Catherine
Tantillo DeMarco. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home, Hammond, on Wednesday, June 7, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a 7 p.m.
vigil service, and on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Mass will be
celebrated at Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m., with the
Rev. Robert Perry, O.P., celebrant. Interment in Rose Memorial Park
Cemetery, Hammond. Contributions may be made to North Oaks Hospice, P.O.

CHAUCER, KATHLEEN PUMA 
Co-owner, secretary and treasurer of Chaucer Financial Services, American
Credit, Hammond, City Credit, Ponchatoula, American Credit, Covington, and
Villa Roma Mini Storage, Hammond and Ponchatoula, she died Saturday, April
28, 2001, at her residence in Ponchatoula. She was 52 and a native of
Hammond. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 
6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation at the
funeral home from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at
Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, celebrated by the
Rev. Chris Eggleton, O.P. Interment in Rose Memorial Cemetery. Survived by
her husband, William J. Chaucer Jr., Ponchatoula; a son, William Bradley
Chaucer III, Hammond; a daughter, Cindy Chaucer Spears, Hammond; parents,
Guy and Mary Russo Puma, Hammond; two brothers, Mike and Larry Puma, both
of Hammond; and two sisters, Rosemary Furca, Hammond, and Antoinette
Skiffington, Virginia Beach, Va. Preceded in death by a brother, Guy Puma
Jr.
