Donald Robert Chaucer Sr., 52, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at his home in Hammond. He was born Dec. 31, 1953, in Hammond, the son of Annie Duczer Chaucer and the late William "West" Chaucer. He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond Chamber of Commerce, Southeastern Louisiana University Alumni, and the Louisiana and National Pharmacist associations. He was a graduate of Hammond High School and the University of Louisiana at Monroe School of Pharmacy and owner of Chaucer's Pharmacy in Hammond. Surviving are his loving wife, Terri DeMarco Chaucer; son, Donald "Donnie" Robert Chaucer Jr.; daughter, Catherine "Catie" Chaucer; two brothers, William J. Chaucer and John T. Chaucer; and mother-in-law, Catherine Tantillo DeMarco. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Wednesday, June 7, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a 7 p.m. vigil service, and on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at Holy Ghost Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m., with the Rev.
