CHRISTY, KRISTEN NICHOLE
Baby Kristen Nichole Christy, of Holden, Louisiana, died March 9, 2011, in 
North Oaks Medical Center.  She was born on March 9, 2011.  Surviving are 
mother, Gabrielle Nichole Christy, father, Tracy Darnell Slaughter, grand-
parents, Aimee and Jeffrey Christy, grandmother, Kimberly Stanton, aunts 
and uncles, Debra, Jeffrey Jr., Chyanne, Stacy and Tony, great-
grandparents, Elaine Cutrer, Debra Christy, Louella Stanton.  She is 
preceded in death by great-grandparents, Anthony Nuccio, John Christy, 
Richard Stanton Sr.and James Creel, aunt, Kristen Ann Slaughter, uncle, 
Brian Clint Drago.  A graveside funeral will be held on Tuesday 3/15 at
2:00 p.m. In Gatlin Cemetery.  An on-line guest book is available at

CHRISTY, RUTH
Ruth Christy, 75, a native of Ponchatoula, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010, 
at her home in Baton Rouge. She is survived by her longtime devoted friend,
Leon Lewis Sr.; sons, Kenneth, John and Ivy Christy; and daughters, Shirley 
Jeanpierre and Sandra Faggett. Preceded in death by her sons, Earnest, 
Bently Jr., Larry and Vernon Christy. Visitation will take place at N.A. 
James Funeral Home, Hammond, Tuesday, Dec. 21, from 8 a.m. until religious 
service at 11 a.m.
