CIACCIO, NANCY 
DIED: November 13, 1973 Independence- Religious services for Mrs. Nancy
Ciaccio, who died Tuesday at Seventh Ward General Hospital in Hammond, were
scheduled for 10:30 a.m. today at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church with
burial in Colonial Cemetery. She was a native of Sicily and a resident of
Independence. Survivors include a son, Charles Ciaccio of Independence; two
daughters, Mrs. Edward (Josephine) Boudreaux of New Orleans and Mrs. Warren
(Rosalie) Griffin of Metairie; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mario Ciaccio. Childress Funeral Home
in Amite was in charge of arrangements.

CIACCIO, SENA KATHERINE 
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 10:58 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2000, at
Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 79 and a native of
Independence. Survived by her husband, Vincent V. "Cha-Cha" Ciaccio; three
daughters, Anna Ciaccio McVea and husband Tom McVea of Baton Rouge, Marie
Ciaccio Seward and husband Bo Seward of Fayetteville, Ark., and Renee
Ciaccio Regira and husband Mark Regira of Brusly; a son, Michael Vincent
Ciaccio and wife Cindy Foltzer Ciaccio of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mary
Vitrano Caruso and Catherine Vitrano Eells; four brothers, Anthony "Tony"
Vitrano, Carlo Vitrano, Vincent "Winkie" Vitrano Jr. and Johnny Vitrano;
grandchildren, Jeffrey Lynn Messina and wife Cynthia Gray Messina, Baton
Rouge, Damon Lynn Messina and Madelyn Clay of Mobile, Ala., Sunny Lynne
Messina and Michael Wade Boeneke and wife Heather Brooks Boeneke, all of
Baton Rouge, Brandon Lee Boeneke of Fayetteville, Travis Vincent Ciaccio
and Trent Richard Ciaccio, both of Baton Rouge, Taylor Katherine Regira and
Carley Ann Regira, both of Brusly, Cari Nicole Seward of Denham Springs,
Samuel Pat McVea and wife Julie Mauch McVea of Orange Park, Fla., Thomas
Scott McVea V of Hawaii, John Elliott McVea of Baton Rouge, Michael Todd
McVea of Boone, N.C., Marian Armena McVea of Grand Prairie, Texas, and
David Allen Taylor McVea of Baton Rouge; and great-grandchildren, James
Andrew Butler, Aaron Gray Butler and Katie Louise Butler, all of Baton
Rouge, Wade Matthew Messina of Lottie, Grace Elizabeth Messina of Mobile,
Carl Allen McVea of Hawaii, Samual Richard McVea of Orange Park, Brian
Scott McVea of Hawaii, and George Thomas Samarippa of Grand Prairie.
Preceded in death by four sisters, Lena Vitrano Triola, Grace Vitrano
Guzzardo, Frances Vitrano Leto and JoAnne Vitrano Petite; and two brothers,
Joe Vitrano and Jack Vitrano. Visitation at St. Louis King of France
Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until Mass of Christian Burial at
11:30 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Maynard Hurst. Interment in Greenoaks
Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Lynn Messina, Damon Lynn
Messina, Michael Wade Boeneke, Brandon Lee Boeneke, Travis Vincent Ciaccio
and Trent Richard Ciaccio. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Craig Vitrano, Tom
McVea, Bo Seward and Mark Regira. She was a member of St. Joseph Altars and
St. Louis King of France Church fair. Memorial donations may be made to St.
Louis King of France Catholic Church. Greenoaks Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.

CIACCIO, VINCENT V. "CHA CHA" 
A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Independence, he died Tuesday,
April 15, 2003, at his home. He was 86 and retired from Uniroyal Chemical.
Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 9:30 a.m.
Friday, April 18, 2003, until service in the chapel at noon, conducted by
the Rev. Minh Nguyen. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived
by three daughters, Anna McVea, Marie Seward and Renee Regira; a son,
Michael Ciaccio; nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his wife, Sena Ciaccio. His grandchildren will serve
as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom McVea, Bo Seward and Mark
Regira. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, UCT and St. Louis King of
France Ushers.
