She was a native of Sicily and a resident of Independence. Survivors include a son, Charles Ciaccio of Independence; two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Josephine) Boudreaux of New Orleans and Mrs. Warren (Rosalie) Griffin of Metairie; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Mario Ciaccio. "CHA CHA" A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Independence, he died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at his home. He was 86 and retired from Uniroyal Chemical. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2003, until service in the chapel at noon, conducted by the Rev. Minh Nguyen. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by three daughters, Anna McVea, Marie Seward and Renee Regira; a son, Michael Ciaccio; nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sena Ciaccio. His grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom McVea, Bo Seward and Mark Regira.
