He was a native of Texas. He is survived by two daughters, Martha E. Sollie of Killian and Annie Kirschenbaum of Pumpkin Center; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be Friday at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Advocate (Baton Rouge) on: 10/1/2002 CLANTON, MILDRED LENORE HAGG Retired office manager for Rieger Clinic of Baton Rouge, she died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 87 and a native of Ponchatoula. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 8:30 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Mary Beth Foye and the Rev. Joe Donakey of Ingleside United Methodist Church. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Joseph Edward Farlow and Sammy Sue and Joseph Edward Thibo; a sister, Sammy Funderburk; three grandchildren, Richard Farlow, Douglas Farlow and Donnald J. Cassano Jr.; four great- grandchildren, Sarah Farlow, Rena Farlow, Colton Farlow and Courtney Farlow; and a nephew, Robert C. Funderburk. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Richard Douglas Clanton; and a brother, Samuel Hagg. She attended Southeastern Louisiana University, was a past officer in the Order of the Eastern Star and was an avid cookbook collector.
