Andrew was born on Friday, July 18, 1958 in Ponchatoula. Surviving are ; wife, Jackie Dale Creel Clarke; daughter, Amy Renee' Clarke; son, Randy Waylon Clarke; step-son, Roy Paul Hyman; sister, Jacqueline Clarke. He is preceded in death by ; parents, Barbara and Alton "Pimp" Simon; grandparents, Wilva and Cloyd "Happy" Clarke and Amy and A.J. Simon Sr. Friends will be received Sunday, February 15, 2009, at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until services. She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension; and a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Music. She is survived by a daughter, Ellen Spitzer of Knoxville; a sister, Josephine H. Gassen of Ponchatoula; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her husband, James Lee Clarke Jr., preceded her in death. The Rev. Ladson F. Mills III and the Rev. C. Alex Barron Jr. will conduct a memorial service Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Church of the Ascension, Knoxville, and the burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 800 Northshore Drive, Knoxville, TN 37919.
