She leaves to mourn, her husband, Bishop Phillip Cochran, and six sons; Titus (Phyllis) of Loranger, Zerald (Katrina) of Tickfaw, Garland and Gerard of Hammond, Levon of Baton Rouge and Keryon of Kenner. She also leaves five sisters; Sally Sutton of St. Louis, MO, Josie (Guy) Perkins of Natalbany, Minnie (Pastor John) Stanley, Jamie (Warren) Thomas of Hammond and Debra Haynes of Springfield, as well as six bothers; Elder Ray (Gladys) Brown of Hammond, Roosevelt Haynes and James (Mary) Haynes of Springfield, Donald (Shannon) Green of Baker, Roosevelt (Kathy) Green and Michael (JoAnn) Green of Baton Rouge. She will also be missed by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Mary Haynes and brothers James and Joe Green. Visitation will take place on Friday from 4- 8 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Hammond. Pastor Samuel Brown will conduct funeral services on Saturday at 11 a. m. Interment will follow at Holly Gardens Cemetery. C." Mr. Tommie Wayne "T. C." Cochran, 48, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Ponchatoula, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2008, at his residence. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on Tuesday, February 2, 1960, son of Marvin C.Cochran and Tamsy Mae Shirah Cochran. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Holcomb Cochran; daughter, Megan Rose Cochran, brother, Waymon Cochran, and a sister, Ruby Addison. Visitation is scheduled Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, from 5 - 9 p.m. Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 7 p.m., with Rev. Leo Miller officiating.
