CODY, HAROLD CLARK
Harold Clark Cody died at 8:20 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at Hood Memorial
Hospital in Amite. He was 68, a native of New Hebron, Miss., and a resident
of Roseland. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, on Thursday, Jan.
25, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Interment in Amite
Memorial Gardens. Survived by his wife, Lydia Allred Cody; son, John Clark
Cody; grandson, Shawn Holcomb; granddaughter, Meris Gracey Cody; stepson,
James Harold Allred; two stepdaughters, Kathy Dianne Holmes and Crystal Ann
Rockco; sister, Carolyn Hollister; brother, Tommy Cody; and numerous other
relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Cody
Holcomb; father, John Wilburn Cody; and mother, Virgie Marie Cooper Cody.

CODY, JOHN W. "RED" 
A resident of Amite, he died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1999, at
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 84 and a native of Simpson
County, Miss. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10 a.m.
Friday until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Wayne
Hunt. Interment in Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite. Survived by a daughter,
Carolyn Hollister, Metairie; two sons, Harold Clark Cody, Roseland, and
Thomas Michael Cody, Walker; two sisters, Merle Berry, Shivers, Miss., and
Vera Mae Johnson, Crystal Springs, Miss.; two brothers, Mitchell Cody,
Shivers, and Eugene Cody, Watson; four grand-children; and five great-
grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Marie Cody; and two
grandchildren. He was a member of Roseland Baptist Church and Amite City
Lodge No. 175, F&AM.
