COHNERLEY, LILLIAN DORETHA
Amite -- Lillian Doretha Cohnerley, 79, a native of Clinton, died Friday,
Aug. 20, 2004, at Hood Memorial Hospital, Amite.  She is survived by two
sons, Bernard Jackson Sr. of Amite and Bernell Jackson of Hammond; three
daughters, Elizabeth Chaney of Maringouin, Sherry Bradford and Laverne
Martin, both of Amite; a sister, Lizzie Bryant of Raceland; 12 grand-
children and six great-grandchildren.  Her parents, Charlie and Margaret
Fisher; her husband, J. B. Cohnerley; seven brothers, five sisters and one
grandson, preceded her in death.  Visitation will be at Richardson Funeral
Home, Amite, Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Bert Doughty will conduct the funeral
Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Jerusalem COGIC, and burial will follow in
Macedonia Church Cemetery, Clinton.
