COLMER, RAMON RUSSELL 
Employed in real estate sales and a resident and native of Ponchatoula, he
died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was
73 and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visitation at Harry McKneely &
Son Funeral Home chapel, Ponchatoula, from 9 a.m. until religious services
at noon Monday. Interment in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery, Pumpkin
Center. Survived by his wife, Rowena A. Effler Colmer, Ponchatoula; two
daughters, Alison C. Stanga, Ponchatoula, and Susan C. Felps, Zachary; and
grandsons, Brandon, Christopher, Adam and Parish Felps, all of Zachary, and
Cody Stanga, Ponchatoula. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert Colmer
and Hilda Colmer Olsen; and stepfather, Olas F. Olsen.
