She was a native of Rayne and a longtime resident of New Orleans. She was a post Katrina resident of Ponchatoula and a devout Catholic, who attended daily Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Ms. Comeaux was a dedicated mother and grandmother who lived a full and happy life. She retired from Hotel Dieu Hospital, where she worked as a Registered Nurse and enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and gardening. Ms. Comeaux leaves behind two daughters, Diane C. Brehm and husband Thomas, and Michele C. Berthelot and husband Joseph; four sons, Adrian J. Comeaux and wife Susan, Jack C. Comeaux, Rene C. Comeaux and wife Anna, and Paul T. Comeaux; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Rose Fisher of Opelousas, Mary Ann Breaux and husband Bernice of Rayne, and Harold J. Prevost and wife Louise of Rayne; beloved pet, Scooter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned James Comeaux; parents, Joachim and Gertrude Prevost; sisters, Iris Duhon, Eunice Thomas, Clamae Crowell, Annette Prevost; brothers, Clement "C.J."
