A native of Los Angeles, he was retired with the U.S. Navy and served in World War II, the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post and Veterans of Foreign Wars in California. Survivors include one son, Paul Constantine of Los Angeles; two daughters, Renee Braud of Ponchatoula and Jeanene Glover of Maryland; one sister, Jewel Van Loenen of La Mirada, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. His parents, Frank and Ione Wooten Constantine; and one sister, Diane Wooten; preceded him in death. A graveside memorial service will be Thursday at 4 p.m. at Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond. Geisler Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge. ***************************************************************************
