COODY, JANET LEIGH SWINDLE
Janet Leigh Swindle Coody, 54 years old, passed away Thursday, December 10,
2009, in St. Tammany Parish Hospital.  She was born in Birmingham, Alabama,
to Dr. and Mrs. Ulas C. Swindle, Jr. Janet was of the Baptist faith, was
saved and is now resting in the arms of her Lord. Janet was a wife and
homemaker and her joy was raising her two boys. She absolutely had a love
and enthusiasm for life. Everyone that met her loved her and will miss her
greatly.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father. She is
survived by her husband, Richard Coody and sons, Matthew and Joshua of
Ponchatoula; mother, Mary "Bobbie" Swindle; sister, Lynn Eddy and husband
Gene and their daughter, Heather Bryan; brother, Carson Swindle and his
son, Ryan all of Shreveport, LA.  Friends will be received Sunday, December
13, 2009, from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home
in Ponchatoula.  Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on
Sunday, December 13, 2009, at 11:30 am, with Rev Billie Kennedy
