COSLAN, JAIDYN LAYNE (infant) 
A resident and native of Independence, she died on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005,
at Lakeview Hospital in Metairie. She was 10 days old. Visiting at Harvest
World Outreach Ministries, Hammond, on Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 6 p.m. until
religious service at 7 p.m. Graveside service at Tickfaw Catholic Cemetery
on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. She is survived by her parents, Joe Jr.
and Bridgette Martello Coslan, Independence; two brothers, Joseph Coslan
III and Jordan Coslan, both of Independence; maternal grandparents, Nedra
and Tank Genco, Independence; paternal grandparents, Joseph Sr. and Gloria
Coslan, Tickfaw; maternal great-grandmother, Pearl Martello, Independence;
an uncle, Bradley Fettes, Hammond; and two aunts, Stormy Coslan, Natalbany,
and Kristina Coslan Traylor, Pumpkin Center. She was preceded in death by
her great-grandfather, Cosimo "Ned" Martello Sr.; and paternal great-
grandparents, Jacob Coslan, Jenny Marie Coslan, Lydia Wallace and Louis
Hagan. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge of
arrangements.

COSLAN, JOHN C.
John C. Coslan 66 years old of Independence, LA, died Monday, April 25, 
2011. He was born on Friday, August 11, 1944, in Independence, son of the 
late Jacob Arthur and Jennie Coslan.  Mr. Coslan was a retired 
Superintedent from 1st Lake Properties and was a member of 32nd Mason of 
Ocean Orleans 144.  Surviving are his wife of 48 years Antoinette Ragas 
Coslan; 2 sons & special daughters-in-law, John & Sheila Coslan Jr. and 
Victor & Joy Coslan; 1 daughter & son-in-law Lisa & Eric Davisson; grand-
children Shannon, Jonathan, Victoria, Jessica, Samantha, Christopher, 
Robin, Seth & Ryan; great-grandchildren Ethan, Cameron, Sophia, Nico, 
Braydon & Rylan; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, Jack & Marietta Coslan and 
Joseph & Gloria Coslan; special niece, Debra Malter and many nieces & 
nephews.  Friends will be received Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 10:00 am until 
services begin at 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond.  An on-line
