COSSE, LOUIS VICTOR, SR.
A retired process operator with Geon Chemical Corp. with many years of
service, he died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at The Carpenter
House. He was 71, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of New Orleans.
Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on
Thursday, July 2, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted
by the Rev. Jerry Martin. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Louis is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Satterthwaite Cosse, of
Baton Rouge; three daughters, Carolyn Findish and husband Ron, of Baton
Rouge, Bonnie Gayle Durham, of Hammond, and Renee Cosse, of Baton Rouge;
son, Louis V. Cosse Jr. and wife Marianne, of Slidell; brother, Courtney
Cosse and wife Earlene, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and five grandchildren, Ryan
and Lauren Findish and Hunter, Cody and Rhett Durham. Preceded in death by
his parents, Victor Louis Cosse and Antionette Manguno Cosse. He was a
member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are
requested to Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge.
