COTHERN, CECILE COX 
Cecile Cox Cothern, 73, of Robert, died Thursday, July 31, 2008 at her
residence.  She was born on November 1, 1935 in Bogalusa, daughter of the
late Cecil A. and Picola Jenkins Cox.  Surviving are her husband, Jack
Jacob Cothern; a daughter and son-in-law, Georgiana and Paul Peterson; son,
Keith Cothern and partner, Trent Williams; sister, Loretta Standsberry;
granddaughter, Nicole Brookes; 2 grandsons, Jacob Peterson and Jack
Cothern; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her
daughter, Jacqueline Pitre; 2 grandchildren, Brian Pitre and Berdth
Cheramie, III; and 3 brothers..  Friends will be received Sunday, August 3,
2008, at Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond from 11 a.m. until services at

COTHERN, JACK JACOB
Mr. Jack Jacob Cothern, 81 years old of Robert, LA, died Monday, September
29, 2008, at Gulf States Long Term Acute Care of Hammond.  He was born on
July 23, 1927.  Surviving are his daughter & son-in-law, Georgiana and Paul
Peterson; son, Keith Cothern and partner, Trent Williams; sister, Dorothy
Perkins; granddaughter, Nicole Brookes; 2 grandsons, Jacob Peterson and
Jack Cothern; and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his
parents, Mary Ella and Albert Paul Cothern; wife, Cecile Cox Cothern;
sister, Bobby Jean Auerbach; brother, Billy Ray Cothern, Sr.  Friends will
be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond on Thursday,
October 2, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 12:00 noon. 
Interment will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond, LA.  In
