Milton was born on July 28, 1935, in Baton Rouge, son of the late Reymond Coxe and the late Jessie Martin Coxe. He was a retired banker and car salesman. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are a son, Carl Coxe; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa Coxe Kluka and Frank Kluka, Melanie Coxe Kinchen and Hot Shot Kinchen, Elizabeth Coxe, and Jody Honaker; grandchildren, Jaime Kinchen Dorsey, Jeremy Kinchen, Brittany Coxe Harper, Kara Honaker, Alexandria Coxe Sampey, Bryce Coxe, Blake Coxe, Bradley Coxe, Madeline Sharp and Gracie Sharp; great-grandchildren, Allie Dorsey, Kaylie Dorsey, Jaxon Coates, Sydney Kinchen, Jacob Harper and Lane Coxe; sisters, Mary Ann Allen and Lori Gay Coxe; and brother, Spencer Coxe. He was preceded in death by son, Milton Martin Coxe Jr.; grandchild, Jake Wesley Kinchen; and brothers, Billy Coxe, Gene Watson and Junior Coxe. She was 93, former owner and manager of Rite-way Shopping Center on North Foster Drive, which later became the original location of her husband's law firm, Coxe & Coxe Attorneys at Law. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, March 2, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon. Graveside service at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery, Walker, at 2 p.m. Thursday. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James R. Coxe III and Judy Coxe and John E. Coxe and Cecelia "CC" Coxe; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie Sue Coxe Ard and Ray Ard; a brother, Robert Caston; four grandchildren, James Hodgie Coxe, Holly Ann Ashby, Angel Smith and Michael Coxe; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James F. Caston and Lillie Threeton Caston; two sisters and five brothers.
