She was 85 and a native of Ponchatoula. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. Survived by two cousins, Don L. Layrisson and Edward J. Layrisson, both of Ponchatoula; very devoted and faithful friends for more than 60 years, Doris and Landry "Larry" Gremillion, Baker, and the entire Gremillion family; friend, Linda C. Palazzo, Baton Rouge; three nieces, Linda D. Long, Ohio, Christy L. Cazes, Slidell, and Carla Long, Ohio; and the Louise Lyons Sisters of Galvez. Preceded in death by her devoted husband, David M. Coyne; a stepdaughter, Ida Florence Coyne Scott; mother, Stella Layrisson Parker; father, Lawrence Parker; maternal grandparents, Louie Sr. and Mary Loretta Layrisson; paternal grandparents, Henry and Louise "LuLu" Lyons Parker; an uncle, Louie Layrisson Jr.; and an aunt, Mary "May" Layrisson Babin.
