Mr. Stuart William Crim Jr., 67 years old of Ponchatoula, LA, died Friday, November 9, 2007 at North Oaks Medical Center. He was born on Thursday, November 16, 1939 in Summit Point, West Virginia, son of the late Stuart William Crim, Sr. and Elizabeth Frazier Crim. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Stuart demonstrated a deep commitment to his family, his friends, and his work as an engineer at Elmer's Candy. We will miss his big, generous heart, his sharp intelligence, his keen wisdom, and his ability to build and fix virtually anything. We will take comfort in our enduring memories of his subtle humor and his rich, abundant stories. We love you. Surviving are his wife, Dianne Homer; one daughter & son-in-law, Laurel Crim-Bartmess and Paul Bartmess; four sons & daughters-in-law, Stuart "Bill" and Diane Crim, Michael A. and Shellie Crim, David B. and Jana Crim; son, Aaron M. Crim; 8 grandchildren, Aaron "Zeke" Crim, Nick Crim, Tyler Cato, Mason Crim, Abigail Crim, Isabella Bartmess, Gwenyth Bartmess, Brooklyn Crim; and his sister, Elizabeth Stagner. Friends will be received Sunday, November 11, 2007 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. A viewing will be held in Utah at the Taylorsville 27th Ward LDS Church in West Valley City on Saturday, November 17, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. Funeral services will follow at noon at the same location. Interment will follow in the Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery, West Valley City, Utah.
