CROCHET, RUTH A.
Ruth A. "Sammy" Crochet, known by her grandchildren as "MeMaw" died at 
1:27 a.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical 
Center, Baton Rouge. She was 74, a homemaker, resident of Morganza and 
native of Huntington, W.Va. Visiting at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 
Morganza, Tuesday, May 17, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., 
conducted by Deacon Norm Christophe. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery. 
Survived by her husband of 48 years, Lawrence "Bo Boy" Crochet Jr.; 
daughter and son-in-law, Lillian Crochet Altazan and Emerson, of 
Erwinville; two sisters, Lula Belle Gustin, of Huntington, and Betty Teska, 
of Ponchatoula; two brothers, Tommy Raub, of Baton Rouge, and George Raub, 
of Huntington; grandchildren, Dylan Castille, and Heath Castille and wife 
Brandy, all of Morganza; great-grandchildren, Haley Castille and LaDawnia, 
both of Ventress, Coy Castille, Bryce Castille, and Riley Castille, all of 
Morganza; sister-in-law, Bonnie Crochet Gibbs, of LaBarre; and nephew, 
Jared Gibbs of LaBarre. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Ophie 
Raub; and several siblings. Pallbearers will be Dylan, Heath and Coy 
Castille, Jared Gibbs, Jeremy Barrios and Toby St. Romain. Honorary 
pallbearers are Doug Gann, Emerson Altazan and Clay Comeaux. To sign the
