She was 60 and a native of Kentwood. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Harry Wilson. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge. Survived by her husband, William D. Crosbie Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Cassandra Siemann and Preston Landry, Denham Springs, and Jolynn "Jodi" Siemann and Jeff Kilpatrick, Livingston, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Fredia Varnado and Tom Young, Magnolia, Miss., and Rachel Varnado and Martin Firmin, Baton Rouge; grandsons, Jordan Kilpatrick, Joshua Kilpatrick, Jon- Marc Kilpatrick, Joel Kilpatrick, Jacob Kilpatrick and Logan Landry; a granddaughter, Brooke Landry; the Crosbie family: Joan and Dick Fowler, New Hampshire, Cindy Steel, William D. Jr. and Jina Crosbie, Shelby and Jory, Lori Westberry; and close friends, Jackie Sanders, Katheryn Diron and Donna Jessup. Preceded in death by her father, Spurgeon Leroy Varnado; mother, Freddie Mae Miller Varnado; and a sister, Mavis Varnado. Pallbearers will be Jordan Kilpatrick, Joshua Kilpatrick, Jon-Marc Kilpatrick, William D. Crosbie Jr., Stephen Guillot and Brian Firmin. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Dickinson, Martin Firmin, Jacob Kilpatrick, Boyd Guy, Gene Simmons, Stanley Guy, Perry Guy, Jeffery Sanders, Tom Young, Stephen Matthews, Logan Landry and Joel Kilpatrick. She was a member of the Baton Rouge Power Squadron, having served as administrative officer. The family is requesting that memorial donations be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, with many thanks of love to all.
