He was born on June 19, 1936, in Jones County, Mississippi son of the late Vernice and Cassie Mae Keen Crosby. Billy came from Mississippi and married Mary Moltelabano. He loved his family and his dog Toby and family get togethers. Along with being an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed coaching and watching baseball. Billy was the best husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend anyone could ask for. He had a heart of gold and was loved by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife, Mary Crosby, son & daughter-in-law, Gary & Terri Crosby, daughter & son-in-law, Cindy Crosby & Tommy Givens, brother & sister-in-law, Kellon & Geraldine Crosby, granddaughter and husband, Tammy & Brian Baker, grand- daughter, Mandy Crosby, granddaughter and husband, Tricia & Craig DeMarche, grandson, Trent & Brittany Anthony, granddaughter and husband, Jaime & Travis Runnels, granddaughter and husband, Cassie & E.J.
