A native of Holden, she was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Holden. Survivors include two daughters, Maxie C. Melancon and Delores C. McKay; sister, Anne Landry; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie L. Crowder; a daughter, Joyce Finch; a grandson, three sisters and two brothers.
