CROWELL, DOROTHY CATOIRE "DOLLY" 
Died at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at her home in LaPlace. She was
the beloved mother and mother-in-law of Dana Poleto and Jim Weidman of
Gonzales, Keith Poleto of Slidell, Chris and Mary Poleto of Ridgefield,
Conn., Kim Poleto and Steve Mengarelli of Baton Rouge, Monique Madere and
Clay Mixon of Independence and Marcel Madere of LaPlace; grandmother of
Jennifer and Jamie Weidman, Whitney, Ella and Jack Poleto and Gabe
Mengarelli; daughter of the late Henry and Iola Catoire; and sister of Loe
Ruiz, H.P. Catoire and the late Billy Catoire. "The Lord is my shepherd, I
shall not want." A special thanks to all who comforted her in her final
days. She was a native of Reserve and a resident of LaPlace for the past 40
years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the
service. Visitation at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy.,
LaPlace, on Wednesday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. followed by
religious service at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, at 
10:30 a.m. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
