She was born Feb. 26, 1932, in Tangipahoa, daughter of the late Ruben and Mae Dykes Edwards and wife of the late Mario Cucchiara. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are a son, Michael Brown; two daughters, Donna Jones and Denise Baham; two stepsons, Ronnie and Bruce Cucchiara; a sister, Helen Shaffett; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
