CUNARD, VIDA ALICE PEARSON MORGAN
A native of Brignac and a resident of Hammond, she passed away Thursday, 
Oct. 7, 2010, at the age of 86. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-
law, Herman and Eva Morgan; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Toby 
Tobias, Norma and Donald Strate, Betty and Cesear Begazo, Judy and Jack 
Amerson; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ratcliff 
Morgan; husband, Franklin Clark Cunard; parents, William Winfield and 
Melinda Gore Pearson; grandson, Timothy Richard Barron; granddaughter, 
Donna Rae Strate; 13 brothers and a sister. There will be a visitation at 
Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Saturday, Oct. 9, from noon until 
services at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Life Church Ascension Cemetery, 
Galvez. The family would like to give a special thanks to Landmark Nursing
