She was 92, a retired 40-year Teacher with the Tangipahoa Parish School System. Visiting at Hope Community UMC, 4260 Evangeline St. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. H. Louis Jones. Interment in Brown/Quinn Cemetery, Tangipahoa, La. Survivors include her daughter, Jean Rowley (Glynn); granddaughter, Kim Butler; two grandsons, Charles Rowley and Elton Rowley; great grandson, Joshua Wilson; niece, Portia Jackson (Elisha); and 1 great-grand nephew, Devin Brown. Preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
