A retired cattle rancher, he passed away at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 83, a native of Robert and a resident of Baton Rouge. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II.
