DARDIS, MATTHEW ZACHARIAH 
Matthew Zachariah Dardis, 18, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond. He was a senior at Hammond High School where he
was a member and president of the Bible Club. He was a member of Harvest
World Outreach Center where he was active with the young men and women
ministry. He is survived by his father and stepmother, John R. and Lori
Dardis of Hammond; his mother and stepfather, Deborah and Steve Davis of
Hammond; grandparents, Irene Dardis and Alex and Nancy Athas, all of
Metairie, and Margie Monteleone of Hammond; a sister, Nancy Dardis of
Hammond; a stepbrother, Aaron Ward of Hammond; four stepsisters, Chassie
Ward of Georgia, Jessica Davis and April Bell, both of Hammond, and Staci
Davis of Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward
P. Dardis. Visitation will be today at Harvest World Outreach Center, from
6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 10. Burial will be
in Rose Memorial Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held Saturday at
10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that
donations be made to the Harvest World Outreach Youth Ministry or to the
Face-It Ministry, c/o 43052 Yokum Road, Hammond 70403. Harry McKneely & Son
Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
