Michel came into this world, on Tuesday, August 25, 1959, in New Orleans, daughter of the late Mitchel "Mitch" Catalanatto and JoAnn Gartoucies Catalanatto. The angels carried her home on April 30, 2013. Michel taught Catechism and belonged to The Order of The Devine Mercy. Surviving are husband, James W. Dare, mother, JoAnn Gartoucies Catalanatto, daughter, Megan Dare, son, Jacob Dare, daughter & son-in-law, Tracy and Ron DeFabio, grandchildren, Colton and Shelby DeFabio, sisters and brothers-in-law, Renee' and Danny Chastant, Denise and Kirk Prest and Deanna and Brian Marzoni, also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Mitchel "Mitch" Catalanatto brother, Mitchel Catalanatto Jr., sister, Lisa Catalanatto. Friends will be received Monday, May 6, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond. Services will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Tuesday, at 11:00 am., with visiting at the church from 10:00a.m. until services.
