He was 21. Visiting was at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday. Interment in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond. Survived by his parents, Earl De Armond Jr. and Janet Cooper De Armond; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Earl and Kaci Faller De Armond, and Jason David De Armond; grandparents, Robert and Lela Cooper; and stepgrandmother, Shelia Travis De Armond. Survivors reside in Hammond. Preceded in death by his grand- parents, Earl Joseph De Armond Sr. and Myrtis Martin De Armond. Lois leaves behind her children, Stephen Howes and wife Janice, Laura Bankston and husband Roger, Brian Howes and wife Tracie, Vivian "Dee Dee" Sullivan and husband Chad; Grandchildren, Brittany Howes Bennett and husband Richard, Bradley Howes, Kimberly Hoyt, Jeremy Bankston, Kayla Bankston, Annie Bankston, Brennan Howes, Cole Sullivan and Tyler Sullivan; five great grandchildren; sister, Patricia DÕAmico; brother, Ernest Vernon and wife Gladys; sister-in-law, Audrey Vernon and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Lois in death were her parents, William Luther Vernon, Sr. and Vivian Heth Vernon and a brother, William "Billy" Vernon, Jr. Lois was a member of Millville Baptist Church, Ponchatoula, LA.
