She was 41 and a native of Houston. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 9 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Wade Cash. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by her husband, James P. Deerey, Hammond; two sons, James P. Deerey Jr. and Frank M. Deerey, both of Hammond; her father, Jerald V. Rambo, Idabel, Okla.; her mother, Ruth E. Rambo, Jasper, Ala.; three brothers, Jerry K. Rambo, Reserve, and Jeff V. Rambo and Rick L. Rambo, both of Houston; and a sister, Lisa M. Rambo, LaPlace. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, served for 23 years as the bus captain for the church on the Joy bus route and was a Sunday school teacher and junior church worker.
