She was born August 9, 1914, in Alaska, Texas, daughter of the late John and Francis Martino Quartararo, and wife of the late Vincent T. Deliberto, Sr. She was a retired Cafeteria worker for Tangipahoa Parish School System. Surviving are two sons, Vincent T. Deliberto, Jr., and Michael A. Deliberto, Sr.; three grandsons, Slade Deliberto, Wade Deliberto, and Michael A. Deliberto, Jr.; and a granddaughter, Katie Ann Deliberto. She was preceded in death by two brothers Tony and Vincent Quartararo, and three sisters Katie Morell, Lena Totta, and Leona Lands. Friends will be received Sunday, July 16, 2006, at Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., and after 8 a.m. on Monday until 9:40 a.m. Services will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Monday, July 17, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery. She was born Monday, September 1, 1924 in Woodside, Louisiana, daughter of the late Loretta and Anna Torino Canal. Surviving are her two sons, Vincent Deliberto, Carlo Deliberto; daughter, Ginger Kelley; three sisters, Rose Prentis, Josephine Galiano, Catherine Maloney; and her brother, Joseph Canal. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ciro C. Deliberto and sister, Constance Canal; two brothers, Peter and Carlo Canal.
