She was 81 and a native of Independence. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2004. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 11 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Louis Boyd. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by two daughters, Brenda Husser Jackson and husband Lew Jackson, Walker, and Barbara Candiotto, Waveland, Miss.; a son, Lloyd F. Demonn and wife Linda Demonn, Naples, Fla.; six grand- children, Norman "Tra" Ballard III and wife Mona, Chance Ballard and wife Patti, Yancy Blackburn, J.D. Blackburn, Jonathan Lloyd Demonn and Amanda Christine Demonn; four great-grandchildren, Travis and Trevor Ballard and Ashlyn and Alyssa Ballard; and two sisters, Vera Mae Sullivan and husband Wallace, Denham Springs, and Edith Cutrer, Amite. Preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd F. Demonn Sr.; parents, Alex and Amelia Clark; a brother, Loyce Clark; and a sister, Bessie Clark. Pallbearers will be Norman "Tra" Ballard III, Chance W. Ballard, Yancy Blackburn, J.D. Blackburn, Leslie W. Clark and Randy Wallace. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her friends, church and cousins for their help and support.
