She was 61. Visiting at Carney-Mackey Funeral Home, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Visiting at Nazarene Baptist Church, 1707 Spanish Town Road, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Dr. Albert Green. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by husband, Harold Denhams Sr.; a son, Harold "Dee" Denhams Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Denhams; four grandchildren, Keondus, Harold "Trey" III, Jason and Michal Denhams; three sisters, Floria E. Love, Hayward, Calif., Doris E. Richardson, Saginaw, Mich., and Shirley E. Moland, Zachary; two brothers, Willie Ennis Jr. and Clyde W. Ennis Sr., both of Baton Rouge; two sisters-in-law, Ruby Ennis and Izola Ennis; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Love Sr. and Jesse Moland Sr.; 12 nieces and nephews, including Mario L. Ennis and Marcia E. Fisher; two aunts, Tepolion Phillips and Roseanna Lee; numerous cousins, including Mary Anderson, a caregiver and friend. Preceded in death by father, Willie Ennis Sr.; mother, Vethel P. Ennis; a sister, Constance Ennis; and a nephew, Michael Ennis. She was a 1954 graduate of Capitol High School, a 1958 graduate of Southern University, a member of Nazarene Baptist Church and a former Sunday school teacher.
