She was 61 and a native of Los Angeles. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at noon Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Charles Notariano. Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. Survived by her husband, Frank Denneau, Independence; six sons, Terry Childress Sr., Baker, Stephen Childress, Robert, Thomas Childress, Brookhaven, Miss., William Childress, Robert, Melvin Childress, Baker, and Tracy Childress, Robert; a daughter, Joyce Cryer, Natalbany; a sister, Mary Lou Cooper, Folsom; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
