He was 48 and a lifelong resident of Hammond. To know Greg "Rambo" was to love him. Greg had a heart of gold, full of love and gratitude. Being a member of the Hammond Knights, his love of giving and doing good deeds represented the person he was. He was an electrical contractor who owned and operated Greg's Electric LLC of Hammond. Working, helping others and spending time with his family were the things Greg did best, but he also enjoyed hunting, camping and the great outdoors. His legacy will certainly include that of giving and helping others. Greg's devoted wife Kellye DePaula survives him along with his loving children, Jessica DePaula, age 23, and Brock DePaula, age 20, all of Hammond. He is also survived by two brothers, Sammy DePaula and wife Linda Owens, and Tommy DePaula and wife Patsy Schiro; two sisters, JoAnn Breaux and husband Paul, and Jodi Thorske and husband Kenny. He leaves behind his in-laws, Danny and Linda Bernard Starkey; brother-in-law, Pryce Starkey; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting will be at Brandon G.
