He was 71, born Jan. 25, 1934, in Hammond. He was the son of the late Frank and Alberta "Birdie" Bethel Dephillips. He was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor of science degree in agriculture and was a dairy farmer for more than 35 years. Mr. Dephillips was a member of the National Clydesdale Association, National Angus Association and an active member of the Florida Parishes Farm Co-Op. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Surviving are his daughter, Amy Dephillips Lebo of Husser; two sons, Wesley Dephillips of Robert and Casey Dephillips of Husser; four grandsons, Kenneth Gill Jr., Gavin Gill, Justin Gill and Corwin Dephillips; two granddaughters, Brittany Gill and Sara Dephillips; and a great- granddaughter, Kaitlyn Gill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Carlene Jones Dephillips; son, F. Lamar Dephillips Jr.; and two sisters, Hilda Kurr and Dorothy Welboan.
