DESHOTELS, RICHARD JAMES
Richard "Dez" James Deshotels , 72 years old of Hammond, passed away 
Friday, Nov. 25, 2011. He was born on Thursday, March 16, 1939, in Kaplan, 
the son of the late Howard and Wilda Hebert Deshotels. Surviving are his 
wife, Dean Bouillion Deshotels; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and 
Randy Ricks, Sherrie and Kevin Sibley and Rachel and Greg Godwin; two 
grandsons, Brice and Chance Gray; four stepgrandchildren, Sam and Callie
Sibley and Austin and Justin Goodwin; brother and sister-in-law, Louis and 
Connie Deshotels and family; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kayward 
and Lana Bouillion and family. Friends will be received Monday, Nov. 28, 
from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. 
at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Mass of Christian Burial 
will be held at St. Margaret Queen of Scotland Catholic Church, Albany, on 
Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Joseph Arogyasami officiating. 
Interment will follow in St. Margaret Catholic Church Cemetery.
