DICKEY, SMILEY ROBERT, III
He died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at 8:01 a.m. in Baton Rouge. He was 51 and
employed by Capital Bedding in Baton Rouge. Visiting was at Charlet Funeral
Home Inc., Zachary, on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A graveside service
will be held at Dickey Cemetery in Osyka, Miss., on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.,
conducted by Greg Stewart. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Nation
Rushing, Kentwood; three sisters, Marylou and husband Ricky Rabb,
Copeville, Texas, Betty Jo and husband Shane Bordelon, Ventress, and Susan
and husband Rick Peyton, Port Allen; nephew, Brandon Reynolds; and niece,
Jeanette Brumfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Smiley Robert
Dickey Jr.; stepfather, Bud Rushing; stepmother, Doris Dickey; nephew, B.B.
Brumfield III; and niece, Crystal Varnadore. Special Thanks to our good
