DIDONE, CORY L. 
He passed away at 1:33 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004 at Hood Memorial
Hospital in Amite as a result of cystic fibrosis. He was a native of
Hammond and a resident of Kentwood. He was 26. Visitation at First Baptist
Church, Kentwood, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Monday. Visiting at the
church from 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, until religious service at 1 p.m.,
conducted by the Rev. Keith Rhodus and the Rev. Iran Smith. Interment in
Tangipahoa Cemetery, Tangipahoa. Survived by his mother, Sue Minor, New
Hope, Ala., and her fiancé, Kenny Tucker; stepfather, David Minor,
Kentwood; brother and sister-in-law, C.J. and Tammy Williams, Roseland;
sister and brother-in-law, Shelley and Randy Handley, Hammond; grand-
parents, Ruby and Aubrey Stokes, Kentwood; extended family, Virginia and
Henry McKenzie, Kentwood, Lisa and Stephen Achord, Kentwood, Laura and Jody
DeBlance, Gillsburg, Miss., Faye Price, Kentwood; numerous nieces and
nephews including special niece, Teva; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and
special friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, Jessie Didone and Carl
and Myrtis Holden. He was a member of Kentwood Lions Club. He attended
First Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher and youth
counselor. He was also a counselor for the Louisiana Lions Club Respiratory
Camp in Leesville. Special thanks to Dr. Carlton Faller, Kentwood Volunteer
Fire Dept. paramedics, Acadian Ambulance, the staff of Hood Memoral
Hospital and North Oaks Medical Center, and a special thanks to Lisa Achord
for a lot of years of wonderful care. He will be greatly missed by all who
knew and loved him. McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, in charge of
arrangements.

DIDONE, JESSE EDWARD, JR. "EDDIE" 
Died on Friday, July 2, 2004, near Amite at the age of 52. He was a native
of Independence and a resident of Kentwood. Visitation at McKneely Funeral
Home, Kentwood, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Saturday,
July 10, 2004, conducted by the Rev. Ray Schenk. Interment in Tangipahoa
Cemetery, Tangipahoa. Survived by his wife, Barbara B. Didone, Tangipahoa;
a daughter, Jessica Ann Didone McLean David and her husband, Russell David,
Summit, Miss.; son, Jesse Edward Didone III, Tangipahoa; two grandchildren,
Ryan Edward Didone and Rachel McLean, both of Summit; mother and step-
father, Ruby Stokes and Aubrey Stokes, Kentwood; two sisters, Pearl Steele,
Kentwood, and Sue Minor, Newhope, Ala.; two brothers, Earl Didone, Crosby,
Texas, and Frank Bedwell, Huntsville, Ala.; and a special friend and former
son-in-law, Robert McLean and his wife, Delma McLean, Kentwood. Preceded in
death by his father, Jesse E. Didone Sr.; and grandparents, Erse and
Georgia Didone and Quinton and Lizzie Fairburn.

DIDONE, RYAN EDWARD
A resident of Kentwood, he died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, near
Kentwood. He was 19 and a native of Baton Rouge. He was a graduate of
Sumner High School, was a hard worker, loved to hunt and fish, and loved
everyone he met. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, on Tuesday,
Nov. 24, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home
Wednesday from 8 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Dr.
Danny Smith. Interment in Tangipahoa Cemetery, Tangipahoa. Survived by his
mother, Jessica Didone David and her fiancé, Rickey Pitre, Westwego;
father, Robert McLean Jr. and his wife, Debra, Kentwood; former stepfather,
Russell David Jr., Summit, Miss.; sister, Rachel Budde and her husband,
Josh, Mount Hermon; niece, Kaille-Lynn Budde; three stepsisters, Bridget
Holst and Carrie Holst, both of Bangor, Maine, and Brooke Pitre, Westwego;
three stepbrothers, Gerald Holst, Kentwood, and Chris Pitre and David Gray,
both of Kenner; grandparents, Barbara Didone, Kentwood, and Paul and
Annette Wheat, Summit, Miss.; great-grandparents, Ruby and Aubrey Stokes,
Kentwood, and Mavis Wheat, Summit, Miss.; and numerous other nieces,
nephews, aunts, uncles and family members. Preceded in death by his
grandparents, Eddie Didone, and Robert and Sue McLean; and great-
