He was a retired carpenter and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lois Martin Digirolamo, Baton Rouge; five daughters, Vita Wendt, Southaven, Miss., Kathy Walton, Livingston, Polly Digirlamo, Baton Rouge, Cindy Pliler, Longview, Texas, Denise Tatum, Alamogordo, N.M.; two sons, Anthony W. Digirolamo, Walker, David Digirolamo, Watson; two stepdaughters, Lori M. Pabst and Patricia M. Barnes; 22 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. His first wife, Alice C. Digirolamo; seven brothers, Carl, Henry, Frank, Nick, Joe, Sam and infant Henry Digirolamo; and two sisters, Rose Blanchard and Mamie Posey, preceded him in death. The Rev. Samuel Maranto conducted the funeral this morning at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church. A military graveside service was held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, conducted by Fort Polk personnel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2041 Silverside Drive, Baton Rouge 70808. Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, was in charge. ***************************************************************************
